Globaltechexport Ltd. is performing the design, manufacture, and supply of a Gas Booster Station for the Priobskoye field of Rosneft Oil Company PJSC

Globaltechexport Ltd. has concluded a contract with RN-BashNIPIneft LLC (part of Rosneft Oil Company PJSC) for the design, manufacture, and supply of a modular Gas Booster Station complete with separators and air coolers for the Priobskoye field.

Priobskoye field is the largest oil field located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area of the Tyumen Region, 65 kilometers away from the capital of the Autonomous Area, Khanty-Mansiysk.

The field territory is divided by the Ob River, swamped, and during the flood period, is mostly subject to flooding, turning into spawning grounds for fish. These and many other factors, together with the inaccessibility, seriously complicate the development and require significant financial resources for the application of the latest highly efficient and environmentally friendly technologies. For the same reasons, a large-scale approbation of new technological solutions and innovations is being carried out at the Priobskoye field, which are then replicated in other fields.

Gas Booster Station designed and supplied by Globaltechexport Ltd. fully complies with the highest requirements set for the Priobskoye field equipment, including innovative, environmental, and climatic ones – the supplied GBS is designed for operation in a harsh northern climate with a long winter period and temperatures that easily drop to minus 50 °С.

The equipment designed and supplied by Globaltechexport Ltd. will also have the advantage of its full operational readiness, compact layout, and the highest possible degree of localization, close to 100 percent – according to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 719, all core equipment will be manufactured in Russia at the production facilities of Globaltechexport Ltd. and the facilities of our partners, proven over the years. Such quotients became possible thanks to the meticulous work on import substitution, which was started by our company more than 5 years ago.

GBS purpose – compression of the associated petroleum gas from several areas of the Priobskoye field.

Scope and main specifications of the supplied equipment:

Gas Booster Station consisting of:

• Centrifugal compressor unit driven by an electric motor (4 ea.);

• Vortex-type gas separator (4 ea.);

• Gas air cooling unit (4 ea.);

• Oil air cooling unit (4 ea.).

Cabinet-type equipment consisting of:

• MCC power distribution panel (4 ea.);

• VFD (4 ea.);

• ACS cabinet of GBS and utility systems of the building (4 ea.).

Common GBS systems consisting of:

• A modular building with sandwich construction complete with landing platforms, platforms for disassembly of equipment, entrance stairs, fences for platforms and stairs, canopies over entrance doors and gates;

• Lifting mechanisms;

• Power supply system for BOP needs with 400/230 V voltage supply;

• Fire protection system, complete with automatic fire suppression system and fire-alarm system with emergency voice alarm communication system;

• Facility intrusion detection system;

• System for loud-speaking warning;

• Gas hazard monitoring system;

• Ventilation system, GBS building premises heating system, conditioning system;

• Electric lighting system;

• Earthing system.
